Bury Your Dead releases new track off of their upcoming album “Mosh & Roll”

Worcester, Mass (pronounced woostah) metalcore band “Bury Your Dead” has seen its fair share of band members over the years. With what seems like a revolving door, the founding member Brendan “Slim” MacDonald has stayed the course since the band started in 2001. “I am the last man standing out of all the original members,” guitarist Brendan “Slim” MacDonald said. “What keeps me going is just out of the willingness to not want to quit. I hate quitters; I never understood what part of touring the world with your best friends wasn’t an ideal lifestyle. But hey, that’s just me.”

Brendan continues, “We are going to be touring all summer during Mat’s school vacation. In the Sates, we will headline the Over the Limit tour with Evergreen Terrace and For the Fallen Dreams, so I’m looking forward to that. I am just looking forward to getting back on the road in general.”

While traveling and touring in the past, Brendan points out the fact that its not always fun or easy. He has a bunch of stories of un-pleasent times, but he has one story in particular that sticks out in his mind. “One time we flipped our van six times into a ditch in Canada and I f—d my leg off pretty good,” he revealed. “So everyone gets out of the van other than me and starts to assess the situation. Myke, our singer at the time, comes over to the side of the van I ended up on and says ‘F— DUDE STAY RIGHT THERE!’ At the point I knew it was pretty bad. He ran around frantically looking for sticks to make a splint and put me back together. That most definitely was a “had to be there situation!”

But despite tough times, Bury Your Dead perseveres. Following up their 2009 album “It’s Nothing Personal,” Bury Your Dead has now released info on their new upcoming album “Mosh & Roll.” And you get to have a taste of their new track “Bluebeard” off of “Mosh & Roll.”

The new album “Mosh & Roll” is set to be released on August 2nd, on Mediaskare Records. The new album features eleven hardcore tunes for you to dive headlong into the pit. BURY YOUR DEAD has sold over 300,000 albums worldwide and have toured with bands like:Korn, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Chimaira, Deftones, Suicide Silence, Stone Sour, Shadows Fall, Cavalera Conspiracy, The Dillinger Escape Plan among many others. The band will be headlining the Over The Limit 2 Tour this summer with Evergreen Terrace, For The Fallen Dreams, In The Midst of Lions, Thick As Blood, Betrayal, Hundredth and Murder Death Kill supporting followed by a Headlining European tour in August.
