Linkin Park is raising funds for Japan Relief by playing a private show

Linkin Park has just announced on their website, that they will be doing a private show at a secret location somewhere in L.A. to help raise funds for Japan Tsunami Relief.

From LP’s website, Rob wrote “We will be performing a show at an intimate venue in Los Angeles on August 31 with Japan’s best selling artist, B’z. All of the money raised will go to child care services and financial support to children in need.”

“We have spent a considerable amount of time in Japan over the past 11 years and it continues to be one of our favorite places to tour. We thank you in advance for your help in providing the much needed support for the children impacted by the earthquake and tsunami.”

“Go to to start raising money for your tickets and to learn more. Good luck. We hope to see you soon. -Rob”

Participants must reach the goal by August 24th to receive an invite to the August 31st show. Also the top 50 supporters will receive an exclusive experience by meeting and greeting Linkin Park, and the top 10 supporters will receive signed instruments from the band.
