Soundgarden and Animal Collective start their summer tours

Soundgarden will be kicking off their summer tour on the 5th of July and will continue through the 30th of July. The ticket prices for each show range from $29 – $88. After the tour, Soundgarden will be hard at work on their new upcoming L.P. since their last release in 1996. But as far as the tour goes, they will only be playing their old tunes and keeping their new songs sealed tight for the right moment. Chris Cornell had this to say about his band Soundgarden, “The band doesn’t feel like something that’s had its day and now it’s nostalgic. Twenty years later, playing with these guys still feels fresh and vital.”

Animal Collective will be hitting the road on july 7th and will end on july 15th. The tickets for each show range from $30 -$35 . And they have stated that they will be bringing the trippiest yet to date.    “We’re aware that we’re not much to look at as a live band,” says Geologist. “We’d like to give people a little more.” He continues “Hopefully we’re going for cave vibes, and there might be some flying things.” They’re also planning to road-test about 10 new tunes. “Can’t say for sure if they’ll all appear on the next album,” but “I’m feeling really good about the ones we have so far, though.”
