Watch: Converge @ House of Vans | 24 Aug 2011

Hell yeah! Some professional footage was done at the Converge show last night at the NYC House of Vans. And to top it off, Converge was joined on stage by Touche Amore‘s Jeremy Bolm. Can it get any better? You can watch the footage below with Bolm joining Converge  during the song Last Light  around 10 minutes into the video.

This is so sick…you can never go wrong with Converge!

Watch: Failures (Live @ Dudefest)

So, I’ve been talking about the band Failures a lot in my recent posts, and I figured that if you haven’t really heard of them then it didn’t really make much sense to keep comparing bands to them. So, here is some live footage of them at the 2010 installment of dudefest:

Migrate Music Show Review: KMFDM

I had the chance to see KMFDM last night, Sunday August 21, 2011, at Radiodown in Covington, Kentucky. For those of you who are unaware, KMFDM is an industrial rock band that formed in Paris, France in 1984. The show was absolutely amazing. You can definitely tell that the group has been around the block a few times and they definitely know what they are doing. They played for an hour and a half and there was not one dull moment the entire time. They feature a line-up of two guitar players, two synth players and a drummer. With only two shows left in the US on this tour (August 24 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the complex; August 25 in Boise Idaho at the Knitting Factory) I’m glad I was able to catch the spectacle before they headed back to Europe. If you’ve never heard them before, check out the music video below:

Watch: Trivium – Live @ Wacken Open Air 2011 – Full Concert

Check out thirty minutes worth of professionally-shot footage of Trivium‘s performance at the recent “Wacken Open Air” festival in Germany.

This is just me thinking here…but some German doppelbock while watching a Trivium concert in Germany sounds like a great time. If you disagree, then have fun drinking your wussy lite beer and getting thrashed in the pit.

Watch the live performance below…freaking brutal. Rock on Germany!

Alright, so after finding out that the New Jersey band gates was coming into town on the 24th of August, we also noticed that a local band was on the bill to open up for gates. Out of curiosity we decided to check them out, their name is STARFOX.

We could give you three guesses on how they came up with that awesome name…

Anyways, we love finding and hearing new talent, especially when they are in our own backyard. We are glad to have found these guys. We dove immediately into their music and listened with smiles on our faces because its nice to know that a local band is capable of pulling off more complex musical pieces. The song that shows off their talent the most is the track Trans-Atlantic on the E.P. of the same name.

We honestly can’t wait to hear Starfox on the 24th at Galaxy CDS, and shoot the breeze with them.

You can Download Trans-Atlanctic for FREE here: http://starfoxband.bandcamp.com/album/trans-atlantic

And Download The Will To Create here: http://starfoxband.bandcamp.com/album/the-will-to-create
