Kings Of Leon quit gig (video)

The Kings Of Leon quit a show in Dallas the other night after Caleb Followill stormed offstage to find a beer. After the band played their 11th song of their set, Followill went backstage complaining of vocal problems. He told the fans he felt like he needed to vomit and grab another beer before he continued to play the last 3 songs for the night.

Followill had this to say, I’m trying my best to sing but I haven’t got a voice, I’ve got nothing here. I’m not drunk, I’m just fucking hot.” Then leaves.

After not showing up back on stage, Jared Followill came out to booing fans to say, “Fu(#*^% hate Caleb, not us. I don’t know what to say. It’s not our fault. It’s Caleb. He can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible. I know you guys hate us. I’m so sorry, fu(#%^ burn our records. We would play right now if we could. We’re so sorry.”

Watch the video and drama unfold below.

Disturbed headed for hiatus

The lead singer for Disturbed David Draimen had this to say to Billboard about the future of Disturbed:

“Many of those reasons are personal reasons, and many of those reasons have to do with the state of the music industry in general and the demise of hard rock and metal right now. The industry is still in a state of reformation; it is on the verge of collapse, in my opinion. It’s a frightening time, and I think after 10 to 12 years straight of touring it’s just a good time for Disturbed to go away for awhile and wait for the phoenix to rise from the ashes.”

Draimen made it also clear that the decision was not because of hatred or animosity between band members.

Watch: Fight at Letlive Concert

Not far from our neck of the woods in Louisville, Kentucky,  an altercation erupted between security and letlive recently. The fight apparently started as a result of event security roughing up a stage diving fan, causing the band and members of Stray From The Path to cut their set short and step in to help the fan.
